HOW IS THE HARMONICA BEST UTILIZED?
- Whereas the diatonic harmonica is normally used to play melodies, tunes, and blues riffs, it was found that this type of playing was "physiologically ineffective" and at the same time "frustrating" for beginners and non-musicians.
- Ongoing research and development since 2007 led to two harmonica exercises that provided a better physiological challenge:
• choral rhythmic exercises
• long tones - Because the above 2 exercises lacked musicality, further development led to “Chordal Jamming", which combined adequate physiological challenge with significant desirable musicality.
